Package: partimage
Version: 0.6.4-7
Severity: wishlist
The bzip2 dev libraries need to be installed separately under
Debian in order to compile partimage from sources. But
not all users need the bzip2 compression (it's slow and
CPU intensive for partitions).
Please add option --disable-bzip2 to configure to compile partimage
without bzip2 support. This would also make the binary smaller
(for use with boot disks)

I'm closing this bug now. There is no need to keep it open any longer as
bzip support won't be removed.
