Severity: normal

Hi,

I've in debian/rules a structure like:

ifeq ($(DEB_HOST_ARCH), amd64)
   CFLAGS += -march=k8 -fPIC
      CONFFLAGS += --enable-3dnow
else
...

This doesnt work because $(DEB_HOST_ARCH) is empty.
The package build fine with dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot

Regards

Jean-Luc
