Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I intend to add myself as a co-maintainer of this package, and start
the transition to 0.87.
Your last upload was nearly five years ago, and I’ve had to provide a
number of NMUs before and since to ensure the package remains in
Debian (and along with it, dependent packages including one I
maintain, lgogdownloader). I prepared the 0.87 upgrade eighteen months
ago but have never received a reply to my emails asking you for a
green light — the last two on September 4 and October 31 this year.
As it is, the ITS delays mean that it will be a tight squeeze to get
the updated package into Bullseye; if you agree to my
co-maintainership, I’d appreciate an acknowledgement before the
21-day delay.
Regards,
Stephen

* New upstream release.
* Add myself as co-maintainer. Closes: #975013.
* Acknowledge NMU. Closes: #834503.
* Ship default.css in libcss-parser-pp0v5.
* Switch to debhelper compatibility level 13, enabling parallel
building. Closes: #795700.
* Drop the C++ symbols files; they’ll come back once the symbol
visibility is tightened in the libraries.
* Add “Build-Depends-Package” in libcss-parser0.symbols.
* Set “Rules-Requires-Root: no”.
* Fix a spelling mistake.
* Switch to version 4 for debian/watch.
* Store the htmlcxx manpage as troff rather than DocBook; this means
we can drop xsltproc and related build-dependencies, and the build
no longer generates any documentation.
* Enable all hardening build options.
* Drop the ancient versioned dependency on dpkg-dev.
* Standards-Version 4.5.1, no further change required.
