Hello,
After installing Kdenlive on a freshly installed Debian bullseye/sid
running a non-KDE desktop environment, e.g. GNOME 3,
Kdenlive appears to be missing icons etc., with the GUI looking somewhat
broken and incomplete. There is no way to change the Colour Theme
to Breeze Dark either, as it is not present in the menu.
I personally managed to fix the issue by running
sudo apt install kde-style-breeze
though some others have recommended
sudo apt install breeze

I see that the kdenlive package already Recommends: breeze-icon-theme,
though that appears to be insufficient. Perhaps it is more failsafe to
replace "Recommends: breeze-icon-theme" with "Recommends: breeze" instead?
This will ensure the end users get the complete, beautiful, and upstream
default GUI regardless of desktop environment.
