Never versions >= 3.3.7 are no longer separately available, but only as part of a larger software package. Access to this larger package requires acceptance of a non-free license (academic use only) through some web form. While the license of zimpl itself is supposed to remain as before, I was not able to verify this due to that barrier (nor to investigate how easy it would be to unbundle zimpl from the larger software package).
