Svartoyg reports that Debian installer 10.8.0 would not write file systems to disk if an EFI partition was installed first.  His report consists of -notebook with 17''-display and Ryzen5-CPU. had problems with EFI and IOMMU

Please don't report bugs on behalf of others: the Maintainer may need 
additional (hardware) information or suggest things to try.

Besides, this report has insufficient information to do something about 
it.
