In 1.7.1-1, literal blocks are being treated as paragraphs. Thus, is not
possible put a source code or a literal text in a manpage. However, this
feature works fine in previous version/revision (1.7.0-2).

There is a commit (be89fb4) to solve this issue in upstream[1].
