Hi!
While testing the python3.10 build on ia64 for bug #995987, I noticed
that the workaround for GCC PR/85412 [1] is no longer necessary and
can therefore be removed.
Thus, could you drop "EXTRA_OPT_CFLAGS += -O2" for ia64? It builds fine
with the default optimization options.
