Package: dict-freedict-deu-eng
Version: 2021.01.05-3
Reproduce:
1) Type
dict Monat
into a bash shell.
2) Observe
>From German - English Ding/FreeDict dictionary ver. 1.8.1-fd0.2.1 [fd-deu-eng]:
Monat /mˈoːnɑːt/ <neut, n, sg>
in the output.
In contrast, it should be “masc” instead of “neut”.
Please correct it. Thanks!
Peter.

Hi all

Thanks Frank for clarifying this. Peter has not provided the full output on
his bug report. From your original source file it becomes apparent that Monat
is listed as being neutral in Austrian German. For completeness, here's the
complete output:
$ dict Monat

From German - English Ding/FreeDict dictionary ver. 1.8.1-fd0.2.1 [fd-deu-eng]:
Monat /mˈoːnɑːt/ <masc, n, sg>
month <n>mo., /mˈoː/ mth, /ˌɛmtˌeːhˈɑː/
"erste Hälfte des Monats" - first half of the month
"der Monat Mai" - the month of May
Synonym: {Monat}
see: {Monate}
see: {dieser Monat}
see: {laufender Monat}
From German - English Ding/FreeDict dictionary ver. 1.8.1-fd0.2.1 [fd-deu-eng]:
Monat /mˈoːnɑːt/ <neut, n, sg>
[Ös.] month <n>mo., /mˈoː/ mth, /ˌɛmtˌeːhˈɑː/
"erste Hälfte des Monats" - first half of the month
"der Monat Mai" - the month of May
Synonym: {Monat}

see: {dieser Monat}

It shows that Monat is neutral, but not for standard German. I'm closing the
bug hence.
The formatting is suboptimal, but that's a different story :).
Cheers
Sebastian
