Package: postfix
Version: 3.3.0-1+b1
Severity: normal

For some time, the smtp is unable to relay my mails to gmail. I tracked the
problem down to the libsasl2-2 and libsasl2-modules:
- downgrading them to the 2.1.27~101-g0780600+dfsg-3.1 version, recompiled from
debian sources, solves the problem,
- recompiling postfix without downgrading the sasl does not help (also
segfaults),
- same behavior on custom kernel and Debian's 4.18.0-2-amd64.

I'm not sure if it's cyrus-sasl bug or postfix bug or just incompatibility of
these two.

For what is worth, it probably not affects all the users, as on my other
machine same postfix-sasl tandem works flawlessly and authenticates to the
Exchange server just fine.

Any ideas on this one?

I've upgraded to the latest unstable 2.1.27+dfsg-1 version of libsasl and the

From my point of view the bug can be closed.
