Package: fam
Version: 2.7.0-13
Severity: important

This problem is the same as, or very similar to,
#272577, which was marked "DONE" two years ago, but . . .

I'm using KDE and my FireWire disk was automatically
mounted onto /media/old-amakihi, and

  # umount /media/old-amakihi
  umount: /media/old-amakihi: device is busy
  umount: /media/old-amakihi: device is busy
  # fuser -vm /media/old-amakihi
                       USER PID ACCESS COMMAND
  /media/old-amakihi: furue 3982 f.... famd
  #

I'm also wondering what a good workaround is.
I seem to need fam because gnubiff can't use /var/mail/<username>
without it.
