Please package wxWidgets 3.2 for debian-testing: The moment the last
LTS, that still doesn't offer it goes EOL wxMaxima can drop a lot of
#ifdef constructs that work around bugs in wxWidgets 3.0.
Thanks in advance,
and kind regards,

It's already been packaged and is just waiting to clear NEW:

https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/wxwidgets3.2_3.2.0+dfsg-1.html

Once ftp-master review and accept, it'll propagate to testing in the
usual way automatically, so closing.

If you want to be notified when it's accepted, subscribe to the existing
ITP bug:

Cheers,
