Source: haskell-platform
Severity: important

haskell-platform is effectively dead upstream. See e.g.
<https://www.reddit.com/r/haskell/comments/sgx9ze/comment/huz9op7>

The version in Debian is several years behind the last upstream
release which itself was several years ago.

I think its continued presence in Debian risks causing confusion
to users (indeed, I am motivated to write this by someone asking
for help relating to haskell-platform on the debian-user mailing
list) and so I think the package should be dropped.

Please ACK or NACK and I'll then re-assign/re-title etc. for the
ftp team/RoM.
