After installing the package for quodlibet, I get:
$ quodlibet
Traceback (most recent call last):

util.gtk_init()
File "/usr/share/quodlibet/util/__init__.py", line 42, in gtk_init
import pygtk
ImportError: No module named pygtk
Installing python2.4-gtk2 solves this problem.

Removing your custom Python install also solves this problem.
