Package: gcc-xtensa-lx106
Version: 12.2.0-9+12
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]

When building with -g, I get warnings such as:
xtensa-lx106-elf-gcc: warning: target system does not support debug output
cc1: warning: target system does not support debug output

I've noticed this while resuming work on this old project youy may
remember: attempting to build the esptool ESP8266 stubs (#948096).
However, it looks like Keith also experienced the same, and disabled
debug mode with this picolibc commit:

https://github.com/picolibc/picolibc/commit/711dbd24220a05693dc3711545d0a2e2cb7ff8e9

Going through snapshots.d.o, these warnings started being emitted with
12.2.0-9+12 and are still emitted with 12.2.0-14+12+b1. They were not
with 11.3.0-4+11 and earlier (including bullseye's, 10.2.1-6+8+b1)
