Package: kismet
Version: 2008-05-R1-4+b2
Severity: normal

I use kismet with a Broadcom card, supported by the in-kernel b43 driver. My
source line:

source=b43,mon0,AirForceOne

[mon0 is an additional virtual interface, aside from my regular wlan0, created
by the command '/usr/bin/iw phy phy0 interface add mon0 type monitor']

When I run kismet, the initial messages include:

NOTICE: Disabling channel hopping, no enabled sources are able to change
channel.
Source 0 (AirForceOne): Enabling monitor mode for b43 source interface mon0
channel 6...
Source 0 (AirForceOne): Opening b43 source interface mon0...

But the interface certainly is able to change channel, and when kismet actually
runs, channel hopping is working correctly.
