This is on Debian 11, GNOME Shell, fractional scaling 175% on Wayland.
Here is how to see the bug:
1. Thunderbird randomly freezes
2. Clicking on anything appears like nothing happens
3. Switching tabs appear like nothing happens
4. Close Thunderbird and reopen it again
5. The result of all the clicks and tab switching is there
Another way to see the bug when Thunderbird freezes:
- Tabs do not switch until the gnome-shell overview is triggered
- Typing in the search bar shows nothing until the gnome-shell overview is
triggered
- Hovering over the window buttons (🗕, 🗖, ⨯) has no effect, even though
clicking them works
This bug also affects Firefox ESR 91.x
