during a test with piuparts I noticed your package is no longer
installable in sid:

r-bioc-deseq : Depends: r-api-bioc-3.16 but it is not installable
Even after a rebuild in sid the package keeps the dependency on the
obsolete api.
./DESCRIPTION contains `git_branch: RELEASE_3_16` - is this the location
where the version is hardcoded?
