Dear Maintainer,

Hi, just tried to run 'w' on a fresh install of Pi OS and get:

-bash: /usr/bin/w: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

Everything else in the procps package seems to fine.

I am pretty sure this isn't a Debian procps issue.

The error message means it either is a script that has the wrong
interpreter or there is an architecture mismatch.
If it is a script, you have bigger issues to deal with, so it is probably
Raspbian did something odd with the compiling.

You'll need to raise an issue with them at
https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues
