Please stop using the __Debian__ big tracking system for tasks you should
send to the __R__ bug tracker at https://bugs.r-project.org.
I explained this to you for RODBC. It is no different for any of the other
20,000 CRAN packages: for __upstream__ issues you need to talk to the
__upstream__ package maintainer, not a random distribution maintainer at
Debian or Fedora or Arch or ...
