provide a link + maintscript (dir_to_symlink).

I don't see the problem.
php-dompdf doesn't explain why it excludes those files.
Your BTS post links to the dompdf issues, but not a specific one which
explains the issue with the UFM files.
FWIW, icingaweb2 no longer includes dompdf since 2.12.0,
icinga-php-thirdparty provides dompdf since 0.12.0.
