I'm ruling this one to be equivalent #353451.
The Subject and body are misleading:
Subject: In unicode locale urlview does not show correct links
In unicode locale urlview cuts long strings with "=" at the end.
(urlview, naturally, doesn't care about the encoding, it reads plain files,
and there is (was) no special = placeholder used),
however, besides the submitter's locale not being Unicode (it's KOI-8),
"long strings" are the key here: mutt's ^B binding didn't set
pipe_decode, so a long URL would be broken at the = continuation
("cuts long strings with »=« at the end.") or on the first cyrillic
character, encoded as "=CE" for example
("In unicode locale urlview does not show correct links")

This was fixed in mutt in commit dabfc0162b9bd4da831f2a57d7aa2380087f8556
("Temporarily set pipe_decode in the \cb urlview macro. (Debian #423640.)").

That bug already mentions three other urlview bugs, but not this one.
Reassigning/retagging/closing as appropriate.

Best,
наб
