patsy fails to build with pandas 2.1, currently in experimental.

A common source of failures is new pandas FutureWarnings in tests that
are set to fail on unexpected warnings.

This appears to have been a non-patsy bug, as it has now gone away
without the version of patsy changing.
(patsy does currently appear to be broken by python 3.12, but that's a
separate issue.)
