I noticed that the last version of xonix changes it so it doesn't kill you
if you try to intersect your tail, provided that the part of the tail you
try to intersect is the last part. I disagree with that change; as just
stated, it's an ugly exception, and in any case was just part of the game.
However, the change introduced a bug. On older versions of xonix, if you
were on the red and hit the arrow key to go in the opposite direction, it
would go in the opposite direction. Now, it does nothing.
