Hey.
It would be nice if it could be considered to add/create:
/etc/local
/usr/local/libexec
While /usr/local/libexec is not explicitly mentioned in FHS,
it probably makes just sense to have them especially now that
Debian also uses /usr/libexec/ .
/etc/local is even kinda indirectly standardised by FHS:
https://refspecs.linuxfoundation.org/FHS_3.0/fhs/ch04s09.html
"/usr/local/etc may be a symbolic link to /etc/local."
Problem would be of course, that Debian has already
/usr/local/etc not being a symlink and one would need some
transition for that.
But it seems conceptually more reasonable if the base
dirs like /etc/ /usr had their own …/local/ .
