Package: debirf
Version: 0.34
Severity: wishlist
If, after generating an iso with the makeiso target and isolinux as the
bootloader, you run isohybrid on the iso the result is one that you can
also just write to a USB thumbdrive (or any other handy bootable block
device). Please consider having the makeiso+isolinux combo support that.
PS (Rather than running isohybrid, maybe it's "better" to use isohdpfx.bin
or something directly, but I didn't attempt to figure that out because
isohybrid was easy)
PPS (I don't know if the grub-mkrescue method already results in something
that can be written to a USB drive, hopefully. If not it would be nice if
that worked as well.)
Thanks,
