Package: maradns
Version: 1.4.12-5
Severity: normal
After upgrading from Debian 7.x to Debian 8.2, the following errors are now
reported at boot time:
[FAILED] Failed to start LSB: Start and stop maradns.
See 'systemctl status maradns.service' for details.
[FAILED] Failed to start LSB: Start and stop maradns zoneserver.
See 'systemctl status maradns-zoneserver.service' for details.
However, both services are started and running correctly.
Furthermore, trying to manually stop maradns via the init.d script does not
work.
The script returns 'ok' but the maradns process keeps running:
# /etc/init.d/maradns stop
[ ok ] Stopping maradns (via systemctl): maradns.service.
# netstat -tunap|grep maradns
udp 0 0 xx.xx.xx.xx:53 0.0.0.0:*
682/maradns
I noticed the folder /var/run/maradns/ is empty (no pidfile).
So maybe the errors are related to a problem with pidfile handling?
