Remote Login is a feature that was introduced in GNOME 46. Debian 12
has GNOME 43 and it is not feasible to backport this feature there.
The next major Debian Stable release, Debian 13, is expected to be
released next year with this feature.
GNOME Remote Desktop uses RDP only; If you want to use VNC, you'll
need to set that up separately (without using GNOME Remote Desktop).
You may need to disable Wayland for that to work.
I'm closing this bug since it is not possible to add this feature to
Debian 12 and this bug won't help to track progress of getting this
feature into Debian Testing.
Thank you,
Jeremy Bícha
