/etc/init.d/splashy-init uses a binary located in /usr/bin: pgrep,
which would not be available in systems having a separate /usr
partition during the early stages of the boot proccess.
In such systems, this makes the progress bar not be displayed until
after some time (which could be long as fsck is run before local
filesystems are mounted), which in my opinion defeats the purpouse
of having a progress bar.

I'm closing this bugs since there's not unstable version and doesn't
make sense to let them as fixed in experimental only.
