Package: bash
Version: 4.1-3
When the file .inputrc contains a line
set bell-style none
and there is a space present after the word 'none', the command
is apparently ineffective.
I wouldn't expect a bash-builtin feature (via readline) to be
sensitive to an excess blank at the end of the line.

Hi,
this issue does not seem to affect versions 5.0-6 and later of bash.
Please reopen this bug if you can still reproduce this issue.
