In one particular document I have (attached), placing a Url object
within a footnote object causes lyx to stop parsing the document and
simply pass the completed pages to the document previewer.
To reproduce:
Open the attached document (urlBreakDemonstration.lyx) in lyx (actually
an initial draft of a psychology paper I was writing - a test case in a
new document with the same options did not seem to cause the problem).
Attempt preview the document in DVI or PostScript mode.
The first 5 pages of the document will be shown, and all citations will
be expressed as "?".
If the Url object in the footnote of the "Method"->"Procedure" section
is removed, the document previews normally, with all 8 pages, and
citations as expected.
This behavior seems to imply that lyx itself bombs out when reading the
file and passes the pages that were parsed correctly, before the page
with the footnote, to the previewer. The citations are "?" because the
bibliography is never processed (on the 8th page).
