The snort log could be improved by offering the ability to
use standard time notation (ISO 8601) instead of the current
time stamp. The ISO notation would better fit
to the global world.
Suggestion:
Add configuration variable to control the time
stamp using strftime %-stanzas or similar.
(perhaps even ship by default using ISO 8601).
