please allow to set groot to another device for the alternative entries.
This is usefull when using a redundant setup (e.g. raid) with the
fallback option in menu.lst

Well I understand your point but how do you think that it might be
designed? I don't think that recover entries are the best for it,
maybe we might support a way to diplicate images using a different
root and other options.
