Dear Maintainer,

Due to the way QEMU 9.2 handles QMP commands, Incus VMs cannot run on this
version of QEMU (cf. https://github.com/lxc/incus/issues/1522). Once a PR
closes this issue, the changes should be cherry-picked until the next LTS
release is shipped.

You can reproduce it on a fresh trixie install (here installed using incus
itself):

> incus launch images:debian/trixie trixie-test --vm
> incus shell trixie-test
>> apt update && apt install incus qemu-system-x86
>> incus launch images:debian/bullseye debian --vm
Launching debian
Error: Failed instance creation: Failed setting up device via monitor: Failed
adding block device for disk device "root": Failed adding device: Invalid
parameter type for 'bootindex', expected: integer
