#988755 (FTCBFS) has been open since 2021.
The package gained #1075100 (GCC-14 FTBFS) recently too.
The last upstream version was released in 2001,
it was already orphaned when it moved to main.
The upstream homepage exists, notionally:
https://jikes.sourceforge.net/
but moving to sourceforge in 2005 was the last activity.
It's currently inst=6 (old=6),
and this has been the case for as far back as popcon reaches.
The rest of the jikes suite was removed in
https://bugs.debian.org/508366
in 2009.
It's time for jikespg to go as well.
