Hi.
When --reuseaddr is hardcoded in the init script,
the user cannot remove it without changing the later.
Can't you just move the option to the default options
in /etc/default/git-daemon ? :)
Also, it would be great if there were convenience variables
for the other options for git-daemon in
/etc/default/git-daemon.

The latest version of git in sid does not include runit configuration
any more, meaning this bug no longer applies.
I enjoyed using it, but it isn't responsible from a security
perspective to keep it as a recommended configuration. Thanks for the
helpful user input while it was included.
