Version: 1:2.19-2.1
Severity: wishlist

Thank you for maintaining radvd!

2.19 was released almost 4 years ago, in January 2021.

Upstream has accumulated a few bug fixes and features since, with one of
the most notable/requested ones being PREF64 support:
https://github.com/radvd-project/radvd/pull/179

As such, there has been a request in the upstream bug tracker to release
2.20:
https://github.com/radvd-project/radvd/issues/185

Upstream ended up releasing 2.20-rc1 back in November 2023, a year ago.

No news have emerged in the last year, and I'm not sure of their
intentions with regards to releasing the final 2.20. I've already
responded to the bug above in an effort to clarify this.

However, it'd be great to release trixie with something less ancient
that 2.19, and in particular with PREF64 support. Perhaps it's worth
considering uploading the release candidate to Debian while there is
still time before the freeze.

Let me know if you need any help.

Regards,
Faidon
