Package: freeipa-client
Version: 4.12.2-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I've been tracking trixie/sid from cloud images from earlier this year, but have
reproduced this issue on today's sid cloud image and it's still present, so it's
not that I have broken my old installs.

Having installed freeipa-client, I run

   sudo ipa-client-install --mkhomedir

Earlier in the year, this failed with a cryptographic error; right now it's
failing immediately with what looks like a dependency issue.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Installing python3-ifaddr removes the immediate failure.
