Dear Maintainer,
I would like to salvage [1] your package safeclib and help to maintain
it. This package has not been uploaded by the maintainer for more than
two years (2023-01-01). The most recent upload is my NMU to proceed
with time_t transition.
Since I have no write access to the original vcs packaging repo, I have
created a fork on salsa [2], where I have prepared a release for the
new 3.9.1 release.
Whether you accept my ITS or not, I would most appreciate it if you
could reply within short term (let's say before freeze starts), so that:
- if you agree, I could upload the new version right away, or,
- if you don't, I am also happy to co-maintain with you.
