Package: ntpdate
Version: 1:4.0.99g-2
Severity: normal
imagine that one runs /etc/init.d/ntpdate start with an ntpd running.
Thus, ntpdate fails, and an error is written to syslog. However, the
console looks exactly like it would look if ntpdate had successfully
updated the system clock.
If ntpdate returns <> 0, an error message should be written to the
console asking the user to look in the syslog for a more exact error
message.
