Dear Maintainer,

In an attempt to be helpful, I have worked around the RC bug in #1095378 which
were several failing tests.

As I noted in the DEP-3 header, a much better long-term solution would be to
update to a new upstream version.

ruby-ahoy-email 1.1.1 was released on March 6th, 2021. The latest upstream
version is 2.4.0, released on November 11, 2024.

Updating to 2.4.0 would not only allow removal of the patch in my NMU, but it
would ensure that this package actually works in practice.

Thanks in advance,
