When a protect pattern is specified, dangling symlinks are not
protected by the pattern, they are deleted instead. This is due to a
bug [1] in the glob() implementation of glibc. Could you please either
fix the issue or at least document the bug in the man page?

This bug in glob() seems to have been fixed, so closing this bug report
now.
