Package: cmake
Version: 2.2.3-1
Severity: important

cmake on m68k is currently miscompiled. This is at it's heart is likely
a gcc bug, but I haven't yet been able to figure out exactly how to
reproduce it on the command line (let alone with a short test case).

The error manifests itself when compiling vtk.

| -- Compiling VTK CMake commands - done
| -- Loading VTK CMake commands
| /bin/sh: line 1: 18141 Illegal instruction     cmake ..

vtk buildd log:
<http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=vtk&ver=4.4.2-10&arch=m68k&stamp=1137574380&file=log&as=raw>

Rebuilding cmake with -O0 (probably -O1 would also work) allowed vtk to
be built successfully.

If it's okay with you, I'll binNMU cmake compiled with -O0 on m68k so at
least it works.
