Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

Nothing specific was done, found graphics subsystem locked and
before running reboot from a second system on my network ran dmesg

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Didn't do anything and a reboot cleared the issue, likely
temporarily but the issue was cleared
filed a bug report at lxqt

   * What was the outcome of this action?

upstream dev indicated that it wasn't their problem - - - rather
it was debian's problem

AFAIK I haven't deliberately tried to keep lxqt 14.x

Should I remove all lxqt 14.x files (apt remove && purge) ?
It seems that I need lxqt 17.x to resolve the issue

Please advise
