Package: foot
Version: 1.21.0-1

Dear Maintainer,

After updating from: 1.20.2-3 to 1.21.0-1 font rendering is very different. Fonts looks more bold and not as readable as earlier looks like more blurrier. Is this a consequence of "bump version constraint fcft-dev to >= 3.3.1 and set version constraint of wayland-protocols to >= 1.41"
This was observed on debian 13 with these participating packages:

linux-image-6.12.19-amd64 6.12.19-1 amd64
fontconfig 2.15.0-2.2 amd64
libfreetype6 2.13.3+dfsg-1 amd64
libwayland-client0 1.23.1-3 amd64 [installed,automatic]
libwayland-cursor0 1.23.1-3 amd64 [installed,automatic]
libwayland-server0 1.23.1-3 amd64 [installed,automatic]

Regards
Edi

Setting gamma-correct-blending to no solves the issue.
