Package: espeak-ng
Severity: wishlist

Please consider pulling the patch now merged upstream which defines espeak_TextToPhonemesWithTerminator, allowing piper-phonemize (from Home Assistant) to be built using the system copy of espeak-ng.

https://github.com/espeak-ng/espeak-ng/commit/2108b1e8ae02f49cc909894a1024efdfde6682fd

I have successfully built a copy of the Debian 1.52.0 package with this patch applied, and then been able to build piper-phonemize on top. It would be great if this minor addition could make trixie. Happy to submit an MR on salsa if that would help.

J.
