Package: qemu-system-gui

Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
when running with ssh -X forwarding, qemu now randomly hangs within the
first few seconds. Sometimes the screen is empty with blinking cursor,
sometimes there is a partial or full SEABIOS message, sometimes it gets to
the grub welcome message, but without fail, it hangs within the first few
seconds of startup.
the buster version works absolutely reliably with x forwarding.
I have seen this both with my own hosts, as well as with the hetzner
buster/bullseye rescue systems, so its unlikely to be my system
configuration.
Aimple way to reproduce this for me is:
kvm -snapshot -hda /dev/sda -m 4096
Which normally is a simple way to see if my system is gonna boot.

I can't reproduce this problem on a bookworm system. It appears
the issue has been fixed meantime, so closing this bug report.
Please feel free to reopen it if you think it is still relevant
and the issue is still present in current versions of qemu.
Thanks,
/mjt
