Package: mysql-workbench
Version: 6.3.8+dfsg-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
using MySQL workbench to connect to a MySQL server via an SSH tunnel no longer
works.
This used to work fine when I last tried it, which is many months ago.
When I try to establish a connection via MySQL workbench, I get the following
error:
Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (111 "Connection refused")
However, when I try to do the same manually (first "ssh $HOST -L
3306:127.0.0.1:3306", then
locally "mysql -h 127.0.0.1"), things work just fine. In fact, after creating
the
SSH tunnel manually, if I then tell the workbench to connect directly to a MySQL
server running on my machine (i.e., using the port that is tunneled to the
server),
things also work fine.
Kind regards,
Ralf
