Package: courier-doc
Version: 0.42.2-7
Severity: normal
In courierfilter.html, in the section "MAIL FILTER IMPLEMENTATION", there
is the following text:
... The pathnames may either be relative pathnames to /usr or absolute
pathnames ...
The path "/usr" can hardly be correct. In the original Courier
documentation[1], this path is "/usr/lib/courier", so I think in the
Debian package, it should be "/var/lib/courier".

Upstream has confirmed that, because of the way the program is compiled for
Debian, the text of the documentation shipped in Debian is correct. As such,
I am closing this bug.
