be fixed long time ago already, many debian releases ago.

Oh okay I found it (marked as forwarded now).  I just missed the
discussion on kvm@vger, found it now.

I'm reopening this bugreport, but apparently it needs to be reassigned
to kernel, not to kvm userspace, since it is the kernel who does the
emulation and lacks missing bits.
